Our History

McLanahan Corporation was founded in 1835 in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, when the company began as a foundry and machine shop serving the growing iron industry along the Pennsylvania Main Line Canal.

Over nearly two centuries, the business has grown from a local foundry into a global provider of process solutions. Through six generations of family ownership, McLanahan has remained committed to its core values of safety, family and integrity.

Today McLanahan designs and manufactures equipment for the aggregates, mining and agricultural industries, with facilities and offices across North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Australia.
